Essential Fabrications was recently contacted by a local engineering company which was already working at full capacity to help out by designing and manufacturing CAT access ladders that would be installed to enter in and out of an on-site water bunker.

Having contracted previous projects to Essential Fabrications, the engineering firm had full confidence in our 

ability to manufacture high quality products and that we would be discrete about the fact this work had been outsourced to another metalwork fabricator in Nottingham.

After receiving the design specification, Essential Fabrications produced a series of CAD technical drawings in 3D that were created by our in-house design specialist. These images illustrated exactly how the finished CAT access ladder would look. The technical drawings were then sent to the contractor, who then sent them on to end client for sign off.

Once approved, we manufactured three sets of CAT access ladders, all of which were fabricated from mild steel and hot dip galvanised to protect from rust. We then delivered to our customer so they could be installed to onsite to allow access to the water bunker.
